Elissa Garman is a Metropolitan State Social Science major with a
disciplinary focus in political science.  Her hobbies include:
writing; politics and playing hopscotch while drinking scotch.
Elissa's dream in life is to learn the game of curling and one day win
a gold medal in the Winter Olympics.

Rebecca Haven was born and raised in St. Paul, MN.  After spending six years in Cleveland, OH, she realized the Twin Cities isn’t so bad—the rivers in the Twin Cities don’t catch fire.  Rebecca lives in St. Paul, MN with her un-creatively named cat, kitty. Someday she hopes to actually get paid to write.

Dean Muldoon is a senior Communications/Public Relations Major. Muldoon works at the U of M as a technician in the Veterinary Diagnostic Lab at the College of Veterinary Medicine.  He has also worked in radio, advertising, and human pathology. Muldoon has been doing amateur photography for 4 years. This is his third semester at Metropolitan State University. He hopes to blend his background in science and healthcare with communications.

Louis Murphy was born and raised, in St. Paul, MN, as a member of a Christian commune/cult; he left with his family in 1993 and since then has been diagnosed as both bipolar and PTSD.  He currently resides in St. Paul, and is a creative writing major at Metro State.

Sam Ridenour does most of his writing at night.  Words and ideas mound up and filter down during the day while he works for his
three-year-old boss.  After the family is fed and the dishes are done, he writes.  Sam resides in Minneapolis with his wife and son.
